Rheumatology

A Rheumatologist is an internist who has received additional training in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the joints, muscles and bones. Arthritis may be the most common condition treated by Rheumatologists, though they also treat certain autoimmune diseases, musculoskeletal pain disorders and osteoporosis. Rheumatologists care for both children and adult patients.
