Occupational Medicine

Welcome to Skagit Valley Occupational Medicine.  Skagit County’s premiere location for Occupational Health Resources.

Convenient
Each year it becomes more challenging for employers to meet federal and state industrial safety requirements.  Managing the costs associated with workplace injuries and illnesses can also be difficult.

Located on Level 1 of the Maynard L. Johnson Building on Skagit Valley Medical Center's Mount Vernon campus, our program offers convenient access to employment-related medical care.  Our team of healthcare professionals is trained and experienced in delivering the services you require.

Comprehensive
Our Occupational Medicine physician and specially trained staff offer a wide range of expertise and our programs and services can be customized for your company. Our location provides a full scope of occupational medicine services, including, but not limited to:
  • Work-related injury and illness care
  • Pre-placement examinations
  • Medical surveillance (DOT exams, asbestos, respiratory, hazmat, hearing)
  • Drug and alcohol testing
  • On-site services
  • Return-to-work coordination
  • Assistance with ADA, OSHA, and WISHA compliance
Skagit Valley Occupational Medicine operates at the main campus where Radiology, Laboratory and dispensing pharmacy services are available. In addition, we are able to accommodate the care of lacerations, eye injuries, burns and most other minor injuries in our General Surgery and Orthopedic department, as well as our Optometry department.

Caring
We understand your need to feel confident about the quality and delivery of care when your employees need medical attention.  Our occupational medicine team respects the needs of both the employer and the employee.  We are committed to keeping your business healthy by helping you to recognize and avoid workplace hazards, and by helping your employees return to work as quickly as possible when a problem does arise.

Professional, Affordable, Medical Support for Your Business
Skagit Valley Medical Center has been providing medical care to Skagit Valley residents, visitors and businesses for over 30 years.
