We are currently recruiting for:

Medical Receptionist - Full-time, Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Experienced receptionist needed for our Women’s Health Department (receptionist experience not necessarily in healthcare setting). Must have excellent customer service skills, the ability to work in team oriented environment as well as the ability and knowledge to navigate within various computer programs.  Bilingual in Spanish a plus. 
Wage range: DOE

Pharmacy CashierMount Vernon - Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.  Applicants must be fluent in both English and Spanish languages and valid WA State drives license and own transportation for evening deliveries. Applicants must be self-starters and will need to satisfy WA State Board of Pharmacy mandated HIV education requirements within 30 days of hire.  Hours are 10:30am-6:30pm Monday – Friday.  Duties will include retail sales, answering phones, gathering patient information, medication deliveries, and general pharmacy cleaning.

Pharmacy Cashier – Sedro Woolley - Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.  Applicants must be self-starters and will need to satisfy WA State Board of Pharmacy mandated HIV Education requirements within 30 days of hire.  Hours are Monday and Tuesday 9am-5:30pm.  Duties will include retail sales, answering phones, gathering patient information and general pharmacy cleaning.

Credentialing Coordinator – Full-time, Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Seeking detail orientated person with high degree of accuracy to perform all aspects of the credentialing and re-credentialing process including collection of provider information, primary source verification, completion of payer applications, follow-up on credentialing status with payers, and communication of status to all involved personnel. The ability to clearly communicate, educate and provide status to providers, medical staff, business office and insurance companies on the credentialing process and to provide complete and accurate credentialing documentation a must.

Insurance Specialist/Assistant - Full - time, Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm (with Saturday rotation). Seeking a motivated individual with leadership skills that can multi-task in a fast paced environment while assisting patients with registration, account changes and insurance verification.  The ideal candidate will have familiarity with medical terminology, medical billing, and computer skills. Bilingual a plus.

Clinical Assistant – Full - time, Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm (schedule may vary slightly).  Seeking experienced MA/LPN to work in our Neurology Department.  Technical proficiency a must as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and demonstrate computer literacy. Experience working in a medical specialty office preferred.  Bilingual a plus.

Phlebotomist Full-time, hours and days will vary. Collects blood and other specimens as directed by physicians. Prepares and processes specimens for lab testing.  Enters laboratory orders and other computer entries. Good computer skills required. Previous phlebotomy, excellent customer service, computer and people skills required.

Practice Manager Full-time. Seeking an individual with management experience to coordinate, supervise, and support daily operations of medical specialty departments to accomplish strategic goals and objective specific to Skagit Valley Medical Center. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time mgmt. skills as well as experience managing specialty department required.
Wage range: DOE

Assistant Practice Manager - In conjunction with the Practice Manager, oversees the day-to-day function of the practice team and progress toward accomplishing the strategic goals and objectives specific to the department.  Preferred candidate will need leadership and communications skills to assist in conflict resolution, data analysis and team organization as well as provider and staff satisfaction.

Referral Coordinator/Receptionist - Full-time, Mon - Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm (includes a Saturday rotation) coordinate referral process between patients, providers and health plans.  Provide education, work to resolve problems, understand procedures, and ensure compliance with managed care contracts.

IT Support Analyst Level 1 – Part-time (approx. 15 hours per week), Mon – Fri, hours will vary. Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and copiers as well as the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system errors and determine a solution/resolution a must.  Candidate must also have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications and have the ability to prioritize assigned work and meet critical deadlines.

Certified Coder - Full time, Mon – Fri,  8:00am – 5:00pm. Candidate must have a minimum one-year relevant work experience, preferably in a health care setting and a Coding Certification. Some job functions to be performed in this position are: Review and code all missing fee tickets, educate new providers on fee ticket entry and appropriate coding, review any insurance denials related to coding questions and to review patient disputes surrounding inappropriate coding.

Registered Nurse - Part-time Registered Nurse needed to work in our Urgent Care department one to two days a week (approx. 10-20 hrs). Shift days and hours will vary; example: Mon-Fri shift time maybe 8am-6pm or 10am-8pm, Sat-Sun 9am-5pm.  Must be able to work in fast-paced environment, be a team player and have solid computer skills.

Medical Assistant – Full time, Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Our Cardiology department is currently seeking an organized individual to work in a fast-paced team environment with the ability to handle a multi-line phone system, is computer literate and familiar with EMR systems. Technical proficiency required. Experience working in a medical office preferred. 
Wage range: DOE 

Medical Assistants are to be A, C and E certified.  Recent graduates of a recognized MA program are encouraged to apply.  Medical Assistant salary will depend on experience and certification.
