SVMC History
Skagit Valley Medical Center is a multi-specialty medical group that has served the healthcare needs of Skagit Valley residents and visitors since 1971. The group was founded by nine general practitioners who consolidated their expertise and resources under one roof to better meet the needs of a growing community. Today the medical staff has expanded to include more than 100 physicians and allied health care professionals. Skagit Valley Medical Center now offers convenience and easy access to a range of services throughout the Skagit Valley and North Snohomish County at the following locations:
Mount Vernon - Skagit Valley Medical Center 1400 East Kincaid Street, Mount Vernon
Located directly across the street from Skagit Valley Hospital, the main Medical Center campus provides well-coordinated, high quality primary and specialty medical care for the entire family. Primary care practices include Family Medicine, Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. Specialty practices include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Dermatology. On-site Laboratory, Radiology, Optometry and Pharmacy services are added conveniences.
Skagit Valley Medical Center Urgent Care 1400 East Kincaid Street, Mount Vernon
Skagit Urgent Care has served patients with acute and urgent medical needs that “just can’t wait” since 1992. No appointment is necessary. Open seven days a week, 364 days per year, the clinic is physician-staffed and located in a shared suite with Occupational Medicine on Level 1 of the Maynard L. Johnson Building.
Skagit Valley Medical Center Occupational Medicine 1400 East Kincaid Street, Mount Vernon
Our Occupational Medicine program provides prompt access to a team of healthcare professionals specially trained and experienced in delivering medical care related to occupational illnesses and injuries. The program also offers services such as urine drug screening, breath alcohol testing and employment physicals to help employers comply with federal and state industrial safety requirements. Occupational Medicine is located on Level 1 of the Maynard L. Johnson Building in a shared suite with Urgent Care.
Skagit Valley Medical Center Foot & Ankle Specialists 1730 East Division Street, Mount Vernon
The practice of Podiatric Medicine focuses on preventing, diagnosing and treating conditions and disorders of the foot and related structures. Our podiatrists serve patients from their offices in Mount Vernon, Stanwood and Sedro Woolley.
Stanwood Camano - Skagit Valley Medical Center 9631 269th Street NW, Stanwood
The clinic at Stanwood-Camano began as a Family Medicine group in 1985 but has expanded and now also offers Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Women's Health, Orthopedics and Podiatry to the communities of North Snohomish County and Camano Island. Services will continue to develop to meet the needs of the rapidly growing population.
Sedro-Woolley - Skagit Valley Medical Center 1990 Hospital Drive, The Pavilion at United, Sedro Woolley
Our Sedro Woolley facility opened in October 2006. Specialties include Internal Medicine, Surgery, Podiatry and Optometry. On site Laboratory, Radiology and a drive-through Pharmacy provide additional convenience and service for the community. Additional specialties planned are: Pediatrics, Women's Health and Orthopedics. The facility is located on the campus of United General Hospital.
Arlington - Cascade Family Medical Group, An Affiliate of Skagit Valley Medical Center 326 South Stillaguamish Avenue, Arlington
Cascade Family Medical Group joined SVMC in July, 2007. The group has served the health care needs of Arlington and surrounding communities since 1990. Their addition as an affiliate represents the first stage of SVMC’s expansion into the Cascade Valley. On-site laboratory services are available at this location with plans to add medical specialties in the future. Cascade Family Medical Group is located next door to Cascade Valley Hospital.
